Portland, OR – Traffic Collision on I-5 Freeway near SW Terwilliger Blvd Results in Injuries
Portland, OR (August 10, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Tuesday afternoon ended in injuries. At around 2:45 p.m., on August 9, the Portland Police Bureau was notified that a crash on Interstate 5 Freeway required assistance.
Police reports indicate that a motor vehicle collision occurred on the northbound side of the Interstate 5 Freeway. The crash blocked the roadway near Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard.
Officers with the Portland Police Bureau assisted firefighters with blocking the roadway during the duration of the cleanup.
At least one person was transported by local EMS to a nearby medical facility, where they were provided medical treatment for injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the police at this time.
