Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Woodburn, Oregon

Woodburn, OR – Pedestrian Struck & Killed by Amtrak Train on Cleveland StPedestrian accidents are often catastrophic due to the fact that these people are not protected from outside forces. Although we want to believe that everyone is able to overcome their injuries, this is not always the case. Regrettably, there are many instances where people succumb to their injuries. In fact, around 500 people lose their lives each year in traffic-related incidents throughout the state of Oregon. More than 20 people who lose their lives in accidents are not traveling inside vehicles at all.

Regrettably, around 80% of pedestrian crashes are a result of driver action. When drivers are distracted, impaired, or engage in reckless behaviors while operating their vehicles, they are likely to cause crashes with overwhelming consequences. Not only are grieving families forced to endure the emotional challenges of losing a loved one, but they are often forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on funeral expenses while dealing with other financial consequences.

After losing a loved one in an accident, due to the negligence of another person, your family may have legal options available to help you move forward. By contacting a wrongful death attorney in Portland, your family may be able to obtain compensation to help cover the financial burdens you face.
