Woodburn, OR (April 2, 2023) – Authorities confirmed that 67-year-old Elizabeth Djema lost her life as a result of a crash that occurred in the Woodburn area on Thursday evening, March 30.
At around 8:45 p.m., the Woodburn Police, firefighters, and paramedics were called to assist on-site at a crash on North Pacific Highway.
Reports show that Djema was struck by a vehicle on the road near the intersection of Hardcastle Avenue. The incident prompted the police to shut down the intersection while assisting.
Djema was severely injured due to the crash. She was provided CPR at the scene and rushed to Salem Hospital, where she passed away from her injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
