Wilsonville, OR (June 5, 2021) – Authorities were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Wilsonville area that ended in injuries. At around 9:44 a.m., on June 4, emergency crews were notified that an accident took place on Interstate 5.

Reports from authorities indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of Interstate 5 near Elligsen Road during the morning hours.

The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews spent an extended time clearing the roadway. Traffic was backed up as far as the Boone Bridge as crews remained on-site.

Medics rendered aid to injured victims on-site before transporting them to nearby hospitals for further care. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
