Car Accidents in Oregon
Car accidents occur every day in Oregon. Many of these accidents result in injuries for those involved. Regrettably, victims of car crashes often require hospitalization and have to go through months of treatment. Dealing with the aftermath of a crash can be incredibly difficult. Victims often face tiring financial consequences as well.
Unfortunately, inclement weather conditions can contribute to accidents taking place. Here in the Salem area, they often do. Icy road conditions are one of the leading causes of car crashes during winter months. When roads are covered in ice, they become slippery and dangerous for drivers. Cars can slide on icy roads, which can lead to accidents. Not only does inclement weather contribute to accidents taking place, but icy road conditions can cause vehicles to collide at a high rate of speed. This can increase the severity of injuries that are suffered during these accidents.
