Salem, OR (January 23, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in Marion County on Sunday morning that ended in injuries. On January 22, authorities were called to the scene of a crash on Sunnyside Road Southeast.

Reports from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office so that four vehicles were involved in a collision on Sunnyside Road Southeast. The vehicles went down an embankment.

Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately secured the area. Crews went to work on removing the vehicles and allowing traffic through the area.

Officials believe that the icy road conditions contributed to the accident taking place.

Medics were called to care for injured victims and provide those who required further care with transportation to local hospitals.

At this time, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
