Portland, OR (November 11, 2022) – A female pedestrian was left with critical injuries as a result of the crash that took place in Southeast Portland on Wednesday evening. Calls for help were received by the Portland police Bureau at around 10 p.m. on November 9.

Investigations surrounding the crash indicate that a female pedestrian, aged 33, was walking near the intersection of Southeast Powell Boulevard in South East 64th Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, a driver in an unknown vehicle passed through the area and ran the woman over. The woman suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident without stopping. The female pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition. At this time, the Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team and Forensic Evidence Division are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
