Car Accidents in Oregon

Portland, OR – Two-VehiclE Crash on NE Glisan St Ends in InjuriesBeing involved in a vehicle collision comes with overwhelming mental and physical consequences. This is especially true in cases where people are left with injuries. Regrettably, over 100,000 collisions occur within our state each year. Tens of thousands of people are left with injuries that require some form of medical treatment.

In many cases, victims are hospitalized with internal organ damages, spinal cord injuries, and other life-altering injuries that require emergency surgery and endless treatment. Although many of us are aware that motor vehicle accidents often end in injuries, we are often unprepared to deal with the consequences that they have on victims and their families.

These accidents are often unpredictable. However, we continue to see a significant number of people harmed in accidents due to the negligence of other motorists. Drivers who are under the influence of alcohol, distracted by cell phones, and drivers who speed and engage in other reckless driving behaviors place the lives of other motorists and their passengers at risk every day across our state.

In cases where victims sustain injuries in crashes caused by negligent drivers, it is crucial that they reach out to a car accident attorney in Portland as soon as possible. Victims may be entitled to compensation to help alleviate the financial burdens they face moving forward.
