Portland, OR (March 26, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Portland area claimed the lives of two people early Thursday morning. At around 2:15 a.m., on March 25, the Portland Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on interstate 84.

Reports from authorities show that a vehicle was traveling west on the eastbound side of Interstate 84 when it collided with a second vehicle near NE 82nd Avenue by Interstate 205.

Two women involved in the accident were killed instantly. Crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the victims deceased. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation with the Portland Police Department.
