Portland, OR (June 2, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Portland area on Monday evening ended in fatal injuries. On May 31, emergency crews were notified that an accident took place on Redland Road.
Reports from the Portland police show that three vehicles collided on Redland Road at the intersection of Springwater Road in the Estacada area on Monday evening. The incident blocked the roadway, causing severe delays in the area.
Two people were pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers. Four other victims were rushed to local trauma hospitals for treatment. At least one victim was airlifted for care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
