Portland, OR (June 22, 2021) – An automobile accident reported on Monday morning in the Portland area sent two people to local hospitals with injuries. Just before 5:30 a.m., on June 21, emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on North Columbia Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a motorcycle and a car took place on North Columbia Boulevard at the intersection of North Frisk Avenue. The rider sustained severe injuries in the accident.
The motorcyclist and the driver of the sedan were both transported to area hospitals for further care. The police closed off the intersection for several hours as they worked to clear the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
