Portland, OR (October 6, 2021) – An auto accident just outside of Buxton left two people and a dog injured on Tuesday evening. On October 5, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an accident on Highway 26.

Reports from local authorities show that a collision involving two vehicles occurred on Highway 26 in the area near mile marker 45 during the evening hours. The incident prompted the closure of the highway in both directions as crews worked to clear the scene.

Two people involved in the accident were injured. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for further care. A dog was also injured in the accident. However, the severity of injuries is not known.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
