Portland, OR – Two Injured in Auto Wreck on Highway 26 at Stone Rd, near Multnomah-Clackamas County Line
Portland, OR (August 30, 2022) – Authorities in the Portland area were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident involving a gasoline tanker truck that occurred early Monday morning. At around four a.m., on August 29, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s office responded to a crash that occurred on Highway 26.
Reports from authorities show that a pickup truck driver was traveling in the area of Highway 26 and Stone Road, near the Multnomah-Clackamas County line, when the vehicle became involved in a collision with a tanker truck.
The driver of the pickup truck suffered critical injuries and was rushed to an area hospital, where they underwent emergency treatment. The driver of the tanker truck also suffered injuries in the accident and had to be transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time.
