Car Accidents in Oregon
On an annual basis, tens of thousands of people are reportedly injured as a result of car crashes that take place in our state. Accidents can take place for a variety of reasons. However, the majority of them involve some form of negligence. We continue to see innocent people hurt as a result of drivers who are impaired, speeding, or otherwise negligent in the operation of their vehicles.
The unfortunate truth is that any type of motor vehicle accident can have a significant impact on the lives of victims. However, when people are ejected from their vehicles during crashes, there is a significant chance that they will suffer even more severe injuries that impact their lives.
When people are ejected from their vehicles, they are no longer protected from the frames of the car or their seatbelts. As a result, they are more vulnerable to suffering severe injuries after striking the ground or even being struck by additional vehicles.
Additionally, when a person is ejected from the vehicle, they often strike the ground or other objects nearby with a significant force. This increases the severity of injuries that victims may suffer.
