Portland, OR – Truck Crash on Corvallis Rd near Parker Rd Claims Life of Joseph Eby
Portland, OR (July 30, 2021) – A 50-year-old man from Monmouth has lost his life following a truck accident in Polk County on Thursday morning. On July 29, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a crash on Parker Road.
Reports from authorities show that Joseph Eby was driving a Toyota Tundra south on Corvallis Road when his vehicle collided with a 1980 International 9400 semi-truck at the intersection of Parker Road.
Eby was severely injured in the crash. He was airlifted to a Salem hospital for treatment. However, he passed away after arriving. The 85-year-old driver of the truck, Rollin Knight, was not reported as being injured. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
