Portland, OR (January 30, 2023) – A traffic accident reported in Northeast Portland left one person injured. On January 29, the Portland Police Bureau responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Interstate 84.
According to reports from the police, a 27-year-old tow truck driver had just finished putting a vehicle onto his truck on Interstate 84. As he stood next to the vehicle, he was struck by a Ford tow truck traveling through the area.
The driver of the Ford then fled the scene without stopping.
The tow truck driver that was struck was located at the scene suffering from serious injuries. He was providing care briefly on-site and was transported to a local hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
