Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Oregon
Each year, more than 500 people lose their lives in vehicle collisions throughout the state of Oregon. There are many cases where victims are using motorcycles at the time of their accidents. These accidents often take place unexpectedly, leaving families to endure the overwhelming mental and emotional pain and suffering they bring.
Quite often, families have a challenging time moving forward. Accepting the loss of a loved one is difficult under any circumstance. Knowing your loved one lost their life due to the negligence of another person just makes it even more difficult.
Regrettably, around 80% of vehicle collisions are a result of driver action. When drivers are distracted, impaired, or engage in reckless behaviors while operating their vehicles, they are likely to cause accidents with overwhelming consequences.
Not only are bereaved families forced to endure the emotional challenges of losing a loved one, but they are often forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on funeral expenses, tackle burial costs, and move forward without an income they have grown to depend on.
When victims lose their lives in accidents due to the negligence of others, it is crucial that their families seek the legal guidance of a wrongful death attorney in Portland as soon as possible. Working with a reputable and responsive legal team is a family’s best bet for recovering.
