Portland, OR (April 21, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a car crash that took place in the Portland area on Wednesday evening. Officers with the Oregon State Police were notified on April 19 that they were needed at the scene of a crash on Interstate 84.

Reports show that a total of six vehicles collided on the westbound side of the interstate near 122nd Avenue. The incident blocked several lanes, prompting authorities to divert traffic from the area.

Two people were injured as a result of the accident. Medics were called to the scene to care for the injured victims. The two injured parties were then transported to area hospitals for emergency care.

The state police are currently investigating the crash.
