Portland, OR (June 25, 2022) – A crash reported in Lane County left two people injured. At around 8:45 a.m., on June 24, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Marcola Road.

Reports from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office show that a school bus was traveling on Marcola Road near mile marker 4 when it became involved in a collision. The incident blocked the roadway, causing moderate delays in the area.

Two people were on the bus at the time of the crash. Both people were injured. EMS rendered aid to a minor who was a passenger on the bus. The driver was then rushed to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
