Portland, OR – Ronald Dennis Rogers Loses Life in Car Crash on Jefferson-Scio DrOregon Legal News
Portland, OR (April 19, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a wrong-way crash in the Portland area. At around 8:45 p.m., on April 17, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Jefferson-Scio Drive.
Reports from authorities show that 58-year-old Edward Miller was driving a Subaru Forester in the wrong direction on Jefferson-Scio Drive. As a result, his vehicle crashed head-on into a Toyota Tercel.
The driver of the Toyota, 61-year-old Ronald Dennis Rogers, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Miller was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was subsequently arrested for Criminal Negligent Homicide, manslaughter, and various other charges.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
