Portland, OR – Robert Leach & Linda Leach Killed in Crash on Highway 22

Portland, OR (February 8, 2021) – Two people have lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Polk County on Sunday evening. At around 5 p.m., on February 7, emergency crews were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Highway 22.

Reports from the police show that 73-year-old Robert Leach and his passenger, 75-year-old Linda Leach, were traveling west on Highway 22 when their Dodge pickup truck collided head-on with a second Dodge pickup truck, which was driven by 42-year-old Jeffrey Sittisuphachoke.

Both Robert Leach and Linda Leach sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the two victims deceased. Sittisuphachoke was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
