Portland, OR (December 7, 2022) – Emergency service workers were notified that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic accident took place in the Portland area on Tuesday afternoon. Calls for help came in just after 3:40 p.m. on December 6.

According to reports provided by the Portland Police Bureau, a crash blocked the westbound side of Interstate 84 Freeway near Northeast 33rd Avenue. Authorities responded to the scene and immediately secured the roadway. Police and firefighters went to work on removing the vehicles from travel lanes to allow through traffic.

Medics provided treatment to victims on the site of the crash before transferring them to local hospitals.

Officers with the Portland Police Bureau are currently investigating the crash.
