Portland, OR (January 26, 2023) – A pedestrian has died as a result of a fatal crash that took place in Portland on Tuesday evening. On January 24, the Portland Police Bureau responded to a traffic crash that took place on Southeast Powell Boulevard.

According to PPB, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of southeast Powell Boulevard and Southwest Foster Road at approximately 10:15 p.m.

The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene after the accident and spoke to law enforcement.

The pedestrian was provided care at the scene of the accident by responding paramedics. The victim was ultimately pronounced dead as a result of their injuries.

At this time, the Portland Police Bureau is investigating the accident.
