Portland, OR – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Semi-Truck on North Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd at North Marine Dr
Portland, OR (September 1, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in the East Columbia neighborhood on Tuesday evening claimed one man’s life. Just before 9:45 p.m., on August 30, the Portland Police Bureau responded to an auto wreck on North Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
Reports from the police show that an adult male was walking in the area of North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at North Marine Drive during the evening hours. For reasons unknown, he was struck by a semi-truck, which was traveling through the intersection.
The man was fatally injured as a result of the crash. Authorities arrived on-site and pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, the Portland Police Bureau is investigating the incident.
