Portland, OR (July 4, 2022) – One person has lost their life in the second person was left injured following a motor vehicle accident in the Hillsborough area early Sunday morning. Around 430 a.m., on July 3, the Hillsborough Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Northwest Tanasbourne Drive.
Reports provided by authorities show that a vehicle became involved in a collision during the early morning hours at the corner of Northwest Tanasbourne Drive in Northeast Stucki Avenue. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to roll over and catch on fire.
One person involved in the accident suffered significant injuries and had to be removed from the vehicle by responding firefighters. The victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. A second victim suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
