Portland, OR – One Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 101, One Injured
Portland, OR (September 13, 2022) – The Oregon State Police responded to the scene of a crash with emergency personnel that claimed one person’s life on Friday evening.
Calls for assistance came in just after 815 p.m., on September 9. Preliminary reports show that a Toyota FJ Cruiser driven by 57-year-old Kendra Lee Peracca was traveling south on Highway 101 when the vehicle collided with a northbound Acura TL.
Peracca and the driver of the Acura, 74-year-old Nancy Ann Vickstrom, were both injured in the crash. Both victims were rushed to area hospitals for emergency medical care.
The Oregon State Police confirmed that Vickstrom passed away from her injuries after arriving.
Investigations surrounding this fatal collision are underway.
