Portland, OR – One Killed in Crash at SE McLoughlin Blvd near SE Holgate Blvd

Portland, OR (September 4, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a pedestrian accident on Thursday morning. At around 10 a.m., on September 2, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a collision on Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard.

Reports from the Portland Police Department indicate that a pedestrian was traveling in the area of Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard and Southeast Holgate Boulevard. While walking, the pedestrian was struck by an unidentified vehicle.

The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, they passed away at the scene.

The driver initially fled the scene of the accident. However, on February 3, they were able to identify them successfully. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
