Portland, OR (December 18, 2022) – Authorities in Portland were called to the scene of a traffic accident that took place in the Centennial neighborhood that resulted in injuries. On December 14, the Portland police Bureau in the Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a traffic accident on Southeast 148 Avenue.

According to law enforcement, a collision between vehicles occurred on the roadway during the early morning hours. One of the vehicles involved in the crash rolled over. The incident prompted authorities to close off Southeast 148th Avenue between Southeast Main Street and Southeast Mill Street as they worked to provide assistance at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle became trapped inside. PF&R responded to the scene to extricate the chapter victim.

Once removed from the vehicle, the victim was transported to a local hospital with severe and life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
