Portland, OR (March 8, 2022) – One person was transported to a local hospital following a crash on Sunday morning in the Gresham area. On March 6, the Gresham Police responded to the site of a crash on Southeast 202nd Avenue.
Reports from the police show that a driver ran a red light on Southeast 202nd Avenue in the area of Stark Street. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a Mercedes Benz. The Mercedes was then ejected off the roadway where it crashed into a first-floor apartment.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a silver sedan, was cited for reckless driving.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
