Portland, OR – One Injured in I-5 Crash near Exit 290 (Lower Boones Ferry Rd)
Portland, OR (September 30, 2021) – One person was hospitalized as a result of a traffic-related incident in the Portland area on Wednesday afternoon, September 29.
Reports from the Portland police show that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in the area of Exit 290 for Lower Boones Ferry Road. The incident caused severe delays in traffic.
At least one vehicle involved in the accident rolled over, trapping one person inside. Crews with the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responded to the scene to extricate the trapped victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
