Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Oregon
Every year, motorcycle accidents across the United States claim lines on more than 5000 people. These accidents are often severe in nature due to the fact that most motorcyclists do not have adequate protection. Motorcycle accidents that involve multiple vehicles are more likely to result in catastrophic and fatal injuries for those involved. Fatal motorcycle accidents often lead families to deal with overwhelming mental, emotional, and financial consequences.
When motorcyclists are killed in accidents, their families are often left to pay tens of thousands of dollars on funeral expenses. To make the situation even more unbearable, families often lose sources of income that they have grown to depend on. Not only are families left to deal with the immediate and overwhelming impacts of motorcycle crashes, but the long-term mental and emotional consequences can be unbearable. Although there is nothing that can be done to bring back those taken away suddenly and unexpectedly, families may have legal options available to help them move forward after suffering the loss of a loved one due to another person’s actions.
Rather than attempt to move forward alone after losing a loved one in an accident, families can greatly benefit by seeking the assistance of a skilled wrongful death attorney in Portland at their earliest convenience. A knowledgeable legal team can help to review the circumstances surrounding your loved one’s accident, gather evidence, identify all liable parties, and fight to hold them accountable for their actions.
