Portland, OR – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 along the Interstate Bridge Ends in Injuries
Portland, OR (September 14, 2021) – An accident in the area connecting Portland and Vancouver ended in injuries. At approximately 6:30 a.m., on September 13, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 5.
Reports from the Portland Police Department indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the left and center southbound lanes of Interstate 5 in the area along the Interstate Bridge connecting the Portland area to Vancouver, Washington.
The incident caused severe delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
EMS tended to victims briefly while on-site. An undisclosed number of people were transported to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
