Portland, OR – Motorcyclist Jonathan Gilkey Fatally Injured in TriMet Bus Crash near NE Columbia Blvd & NE 52nd AveOregon Legal News
Portland, OR (April 18, 2023) – The Portland Police Bureau confirmed that 41-year-old Jonathan Gilkey had lost his life as a result of a motorcycle accident that took place on Friday evening in the Cully neighborhood.
The crash was reported to the Portland Police at approximately 6:30 p.m. on April 14.
Reports provided by authorities show that a motorcycle and a TriMet bus collided on Northeast Columbia Boulevard near Northeast 52nd Avenue.
Motorcyclist, identified as Gilkey, was fatally injured in the crash. He passed away from his injuries while at the scene before the police arrived.
At this time, the incident is being investigated. No other injuries were reported.
