Portland, OR (December 14, 2022) – A motorcycle accident reported on the southeast side of Portland early Monday evening claimed one person’s life. On December 12, the Portland Police Bureau responded to the scene of an accident on Southeast Division Street.

According to reports, a motorcyclist was traveling through the intersection of Southeast Division Street and South East 154th Avenue at around 4:50 p.m. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a second vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash.

The motorcyclist was severely injured in the crash. Authorities rushed to the scene to provide assistance. However, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on arrival.

The Portland Police Bureau is currently investigating the accident.
