Portland, OR – Motor Vehicle Accident on SW 40th Ave & SW Huber St Ends in Injuries
Portland, OR (May 26, 2022) – The police and firefighters in Portland were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday evening that ended in injuries. Just after 4 p.m., on May 25, the Portland Police Bureau and firefighters were notified that an auto accident took place on Southwest 40th Avenue.
Reports provided by PPD indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the roadway at Southwest 40th Avenue near Southwest Huber Street during the early evening hours. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to close off a portion of the roadway as they were to remove vehicles and debris from the scene.
EMS responded to the site of the accident to render aid to victims and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
