Fatal Truck Accidents in Oregon

Portland, OR – Michael Elliot Loses Life in Truck Crash on I-5 near MM 220Each year, more than 500 people lose their lives in vehicle accidents across the state of Oregon. In many instances, vehicle collisions are completely preventable. In Oregon, as well as other states across our country, the leading cause of traffic collisions is negligence and recklessness. When drivers fail to control their vehicles, engage in distracting behaviors, drive impaired, or operate their vehicles irresponsibly, it can have a detrimental impact on their lives as well as the lives of others sharing the road.

These accidents often leave bereaved families struggling to move forward. As they attempt to deal with the mental and emotional consequences of an unexpected loss, they are forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on funeral expenses and deal with unanticipated financial repercussions.

When victims are killed unexpectedly as a result of the actions of others, it is crucial that their families seek legal guidance from a qualified wrongful death attorney in Portland as soon as possible. Although there is nothing that can be done to bring back those taken away suddenly and unexpectedly, families may have an array of legal options available to help them move, forward and get the justice they deserve after losing a loved one.
