Portland, OR (December 4, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on the Northeast Side of Portland sent an unknown number of people to area hospitals with injuries.

At around 2:45 a.m., on December 3, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on the Burnside Bridge.

Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the Burnside Bridge during the early morning hours. The bridge, which spans across the Williamette River, was closed off for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
