Portland, OR (November 12, 2022) – A traffic accident took place on Tuesday evening in Northeast Portland that claimed the life of 55-year-old Ku Nay Htoo. The crash was reported at around seven p.m. on Tuesday, November 8.

The Portland Police Bureau responded to the scene of the crash, which took place on Northeast 162nd Avenue near Northeast Fargo Street.

According to reports, Htoo was attempting to cross Northeast 162nd Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle passing through the area. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and attempted to render aid.

Htoo suffered severe injuries in the accident. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel who responded to the site of the accident, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigations into the crash are currently underway by the Portland Police Bureau.
