Portland, OR – Kody Hansen & Dale Herren Killed in Truck vs Audi Crash on Highway 30

Portland, OR (July 26, 2022) – A traffic collision reported in the Portland area on Saturday claimed the lives of two men. On July 23, the Oregon State Police responded to a crash that occurred on Highway 30.

Reports from authorities show that 24-year-old Kody Hansen was driving a GMC Sierra on Highway 30. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with an Audi AA8. The Audi was occupied by two people at the time of the accident, 45-year-old Dale Herren and 43-year-old Jennifer Herren.

The GMC then collided with two more vehicles before striking a power pole and going over an embankment. The truck continued forward and crashed through the front porch of a residence before coming to rest.

Hansen and Dale Herren both suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The two men were declared deceased at the scene.

Jennifer Herren was rushed to an area hospital for emergency treatment of serious injuries.

The Oregon State Police is investigating the crash at this time.
