Fatal Car Accidents in Oregon

Portland, OR - Jared Lewis, Kristopher Frisbee, and Heather Good Killed in Truck Crash on Highway 97 near MM 113Every year, motor vehicle accidents throughout our state leave tens of thousands of people with life-altering injuries. Although we want to believe that everyone is able to overcome their injuries, this is not always the case. Regrettably, there are many instances where people succumb to their injuries. In fact, around 500 people lose their lives each year in traffic-related incidents throughout the state of Oregon.

These accidents often leave bereaved families struggling to move forward. As they attempt to deal with the mental and emotional consequences of an unexpected loss, many families are forced to deal with financial consequences as well. Surviving relatives are often forced to go without a reliable source of income while having to spend tens of thousands of dollars on end-of-life arrangements.

When victims lose their lives in accidents due to the negligence of others, it is crucial that their families seek the legal guidance of a wrongful death attorney in Portland as soon as possible. Working with a reputable and responsive legal team is a family’s best bet for recovering. Although there is nothing that can be done to bring back those taken away suddenly and unexpectedly, families may have an array of legal options available to help them move, forward and get the justice they deserve after losing a loved one.
