Portland, OR – James Martin Killed in Motorcycle Crash at N Vancouver Ave near NE Columbia Blvd
Portland, OR (March 27, 2022) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motorcycle accident that took place on Thursday afternoon in the Piedmont Neighborhood. At around 2 p.m., March 24, the Portland Police Bureau responded to a crash on North Vancouver Avenue.
Reports provided by PPB show that a motorcycle and a pickup truck towing a trailer collided on North Vancouver Avenue at the intersection of Northeast Columbia Boulevard.
The impact of the crash caused the pickup truck to overturn.
The motorcyclist, 26-year-old James Martin, sustained fatal injuries. Martin was pronounced deceased immediately at the scene.
The driver of the truck and his 12-year-old male passenger were both seriously injured. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for care.
At this time, PPB is investigating the crash.
