Portland, OR (September 3, 2021) – Authorities were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Portland area that claimed one woman’s life. At around 2 p.m., on August 30, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Northeast 29th Avenue.

Reports from authorities show that 72-year-old Jackie Mizer was traveling north on Northeast 259th Street in a Hyundai Elantra. As her vehicle passed through the intersection of Northeast 29th Avenue, it collided with a semi-truck.

Mizer sustained severe injuries in the accident. She was rushed to a local hospital where she passed away. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
