Portland, OR (May 14, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in the Portland area on Friday afternoon has left at least one person with injuries. Just after 3 p.m., on May 13, the Portland Police Bureau was dispatched to a reported auto collision on Interstate 84 Freeway.

Reports provided by the police in Portland show that a collision between an unknown number of vehicles took place on the westbound side of Interstate 84 Freeway. The crash caused moderate delays in the area of Northeast 28th Avenue. The police and local firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.

Emergency medical workers responded to provide medical care to injured victims on-site. Those in need of further assistance were transported to area hospitals for further evaluation.
