Portland, OR – Injury Accident Reported on W Burnside St near SW 6th Ave

Portland, OR (February 11, 2023) – At least one person was hospitalized with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Saturday morning, February 11th.

At around 1:15 a.m., the Portland Police Bureau and area firefighters were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that occurred on West Burnside Street.

Preliminary reports show that vehicles collided on West Burnside Street near Southwest 6th Avenue during the early morning hours. The incident caused delays in the area.

PPB and Portland firefighters immediately close off the roadway as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles.

Victims were provided medical care for the injuries that they had suffered. An ambulance was used to take at least one of the involved individuals to a nearby hospital for additional treatment.

The police department in Portland is actively investigating the cause of the crash.
