Car Accidents in Oregon

Portland, OR – Injury Accident Reported on S Pacific AveMotor vehicle accidents in the state of Oregon impact the lives of thousands of people every year. Although there are many instances where crashes end in minor injuries, a significant amount of crashes sent victims to local hospitals where they must remain for several days or even weeks at a time. When victims suffer severe injuries, they often face immediate and long-term consequences. Countless victims require long-term treatment, like rehabilitation and therapy. Regrettably, not everyone is able to fully recover. Instead, thousands of people are left with permanent disabilities.

The unfortunate truth is that more than 8,000 people need some form of medical care after being hurt in a crash. Many collisions are caused by drivers who engage in reckless and negligent actions while operating their vehicles. Driving impaired, driving while distracted, and speeding are three of the top ten causes of crashes. However, these and other acts of negligence continue to impact the lives of people across our state daily. When victims are harmed in crashes caused by negligent motorists, they should reach out to a car accident attorney in Portland as soon as possible.
