Portland, OR (May 2, 2022) – Emergency crews in the Portland area were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 2:45 a.m., on May 2, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto wreck on Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles caused moderate delays in the area of 4700 Northeast Sandy Boulevard. The police and firefighters rushed to the scene to secure the area and prevent further injuries and damage.

EMS rendered aid to victims on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
