Portland, OR – Injury Accident Reported on I-405 near SW 6th Ave

Portland, OR (April 19, 2023) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital following a car crash that took place in the Portland area.

Calls for help were received by the Portland Police Bureau at approximately 7:57 a.m. on April 18.

According to official reports, a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of the Interstate 405 Freeway. The incident caused disruptions in the area near Exit 1C at Southwest 6th Avenue.

Injuries were confirmed as a result of this crash. Medics responded to care for the injured victims before transporting them to local hospitals.

At this time, investigations into the accident are underway.
