Portland, OR – Injury Accident blocks I-84 Freeway near NE 68th Ave & NE Halsey St

Portland, OR (January 9, 2022) – At around 2:57 a.m., on January 9, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Interstate 84 Freeway.

Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked the eastbound side of the freeway. The incident caused delays in the area between Northeast 68th Avenue and Northeast Halsey Street during the early morning hours.

At least one person involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are underway.
