Portland, OR – Injury Accident blocks I-205 Freeway near NE Glisan St Exit

Portland, OR (October 28, 2021) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the Portland area on Tuesday, October 26.

Just before 4:30 p.m., the police, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a collision on Interstate 205 Freeway.

Reports from the police show that a collision between vehicles caused moderate delays on the southbound side of the freeway in the area near the Northeast Glisan Street Exit. Emergency crews closed off the area as they worked to clear the scene.

EMS rendered aid to victims while at the scene. An unknown number of people were transported from the site of the crash to local hospitals for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
