Portland, OR – Injuries Reported in Collision at I-205 and Airport Way
Portland, OR (August 25, 2021) – Authorities in Portland were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident that caused moderate delays and injuries. At approximately 9:05 a.m., on August 25, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 205.
Reports from the Portland Police Department indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of the Freeway at the intersection of Airport Way.
The incident blocked all lanes except the left lane. Police and firefighters closed off the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
EMS tended to victims on-site. At least one person was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
