Portland, OR (July 11, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Portland area sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 2:20 p.m., on July 10, the Portland Police Bureau and firefighters were dispatched to the site of a crash on southeast Powell Boulevard.

Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred in the 14,800 block of Southeast Powell Boulevard during the afternoon hours. The incident caused some delays throughout the area.

The Portland Police Bureau and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to remove the vehicles from the scene.

Medical personnel responded to the side of the crash to render aid to the victims who suffered injuries. An unknown number of injured parties were then transported by ambulance to local hospitals for further treatment.

The police and Portland are currently investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
